How to Bid

Two Packages. One Opportunity.

The Vidalia Mills equipment is being offered on a sealed-bid private-treaty basis in two distinct packages. Bid on one, the other, or both. Each package requires one combined offer covering all lots in that package — no partial bids. Bids are evaluated on a combination of price and proposed removal timeline. Submit all offers by Wednesday, June 17, 2026 · 10:00 AM CT.

Important: A faster removal timeline may be favored over a higher bid. The lender requires the facility cleared promptly — bids are weighed on a combination of price and speed of removal. Propose the shortest removal window you can realistically meet (maximum 80 days from written acceptance). Inspection of equipment is available by appointment prior to submitting a bid.

Questions & Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a sealed-bid private treaty sale?

All bids are submitted confidentially by the deadline and reviewed together. There is no public bidding or counter-bidding process. The highest qualifying offer — evaluated on both price and proposed removal timeline — is selected. All bids remain strictly confidential until the close of the offer window.

Can I bid on just one package?

Yes. The Equipment Vault (65 lots) and the Balance of Auction (552 lots) are separate bid packages. You may submit a bid for one, the other, or both. Each package requires its own bid sheet and one combined offer covering all lots in that package.

How important is the removal timeline in the evaluation?

Very important. The lender requires the facility cleared promptly, and bids are evaluated on a combination of price and speed of removal. A lower bid with a shorter, more realistic removal timeline may be selected over a higher bid with a longer one. Propose the shortest window you can genuinely commit to — maximum 80 days from written acceptance.

Can I inspect the equipment before submitting a bid?

Yes. Inspections are available by appointment prior to the bid deadline. Contact Bonnette Auction & Realty at info@bonnetteauctions.com or Redfield Group Auctions at JFisher@RedfieldGroup.com to schedule.

How do I obtain the bid sheets?

Email JFisher@RedfieldGroup.com to request the bid package for either or both lots. Completed bid sheets must be returned to the same address by June 17, 2026 · 10:00 AM CT.

Who is responsible for rigging and removal?

Rigging, dismantling, loading, and transportation are entirely the buyer's responsibility. Redfield Group Auctions and Bonnette Auction & Realty do not load or rig equipment. A rigging company referral is available upon request, though buyers are not obligated to use it. A signed Rigging & Removal Agreement is required before any on-site work begins.

What are the payment terms upon acceptance?

Wire transfer in full within 24 hours of written acceptance. Buyer's premium of 15% is added to the accepted bid amount. All equipment is sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties expressed or implied.
