About the Collection

A horseman's home, every piece chosen with intent.

For decades, Thomas Elmer Tucker filled his Pineville home with the things that mattered to him — fine furniture, sporting and equestrian art, a Brunswick limited-edition billiard table, a carved court cupboard with North Wind faces, an 8-place Chippendale mahogany dining set, three diamond engagement ring sets, a Herschede grandfather clock, and the practical equipment of a working horse property. The full contents of the estate now go to auction.

Over 124 lots span the home, the office, the stable, the loft, and the grounds. Featured pieces include an ARTIST SIGNED Rogers Oil Derby canvas (53″ × 42″), three Kentucky Derby signed prints, an ARTIST SIGNED Italian canvas (46″ × 59″), a heavy ornate beveled gold mirror, a 75″ Chevalier mirror, a carved marble-top console table, a mahogany chest on chest, a Colt MK IV Officers .45 ACP, a bronze horse on marble base, and a complete Buckingham china service for eight.

Whether you're furnishing a home, building a collection, or outfitting a working horse property, this is a rare chance to acquire pieces from a refined Louisiana estate — all sold to the highest online bidder, no reserves quietly held back, with a single buyer's premium and clear terms.

"A Captain in the United States Army. A Major in the Mississippi National Guard. A pipeline man for over fifty years. A horseman through and through — qualifying for AQHA's Run for the Million at seventy-three years old." — In Memory of Thomas Elmer Tucker

Bidder Information

Common questions, clear answers.

When does the auction end?

Online bidding closes Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time. The auction uses a soft close — if a bid is placed in the final minutes on a lot, that lot's closing time extends to give other bidders a fair chance to respond.

Can I see the items in person?

Yes. The estate is open for preview on Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at 543 Elmus Paul Road, Pineville, LA. Additional preview times may be arranged by appointment — contact Bonnette Auctions to schedule.

How do I register to bid?

Registration is completed at the online bidding portal. Verification (including a credit-card hold for bidder identity) is required prior to bidding. All bidders agree to the published auction terms and a buyer's premium added to the high bid to determine total contract price.

Is the Brunswick billiard table really a limited edition?

Yes. The 110″ × 60″ Brunswick is a Limited Edition slate table inlaid with mother of pearl. It is sold disassembled — the buyer is responsible for bringing tools and personnel to safely disassemble and remove the table during the load-out window.

How does pickup and removal work?
Are the diamond rings appraised or graded?

Carat weights and clarity grades are listed where provided. Lot 20c (the 14K pavé set) is noted as SI clarity with approximately 1/3 carat center stone and a .25 ct band, .63 ct total. Lot 20b is approximately 1-5/8 ct total weight in a princess-cut three-stone configuration. Lot 20a is 1.21 ct total with a .46 ct center. We strongly encourage in-person inspection during preview.

Are items sold individually or as a single sale?

Each lot is sold individually to the highest online bidder. Bid on as many or as few lots as you'd like.
