Portfolio of one of Ouachita Parish's most recognizable business families to be offered as twelve lots in a single-day live virtual auction conducted by Bonnette Auctions.


WEST MONROE, LA — May 18, 2026Bonnette Auctions announces that the Plunk Family Estate will sell eleven commercial real estate properties — offered as twelve lots — in a live virtual online auction scheduled for Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 2:00 PM CDT. The sale represents one of the most significant single-event multi-property commercial real estate auctions in West Monroe and Ouachita Parish, Louisiana in recent years.

The portfolio was assembled over decades by the late Donnie Plunk Sr., a longtime Ouachita Parish businessman and honorary deputy who passed away in October 2021 at the age of 71. Mr. Plunk was widely regarded as a community icon. The estate sale follows the more recent passing of his son, Donald “Don” E. Plunk Jr., who passed away in February 2026 at the age of 50. Together, the father and son built one of the most recognizable commercial real estate footprints in West Monroe and accomplished many ventures across the community, including Truck Parts Sales, Heavy Equipment Sales, and Donnie Plunk's Towing & Recovery.

The portfolio includes warehouses, industrial sites, retail and office buildings, a 34-unit self-storage facility, a 6.06-acre commercial development tract, and a 12.6-acre property with frontage on Interstate 20 currently leased on a triple net basis. Properties are located across Sterling Avenue, Jerry Street, Old Natchitoches Road, Franklin Drive, Jonesboro Road, Harold Street, and Washington Street.
